We are an Independent Baptist Church whose mission is to proclaim the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and provide everyone in Sumter County an opportunity to find a church home. We want everyone to feel welcome at Springbank.

What is Christianity?

At Springbank, we believe anyone can become a Christian.  The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  No matter what your background is; no matter what you have done in life; God loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you.

How to become a Christian:

STEP ONE:  ADMIT YOU ARE A SINNER... As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.  For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  Romans 3: 10; 23

STEP TWO:  BELIEVE... Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.  Acts 16:31

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Rom 5: 8

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  John 3: 16

STEP THREE:  CONFESS...  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom 10: 9-10

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  Romans 10: 13

STEP FOUR:  RECEIVE... For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.  Ephesians 2:8-9

Dear God, I know I'm a sinner.  Please forgive me of all my sin.  I believe and place my trust in what Jesus has done for me on the cross of Calvary.  I ask Jesus to save me and be Lord of my life.   Amen.
